About the role

This new role in our Gold Coast office is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a diverse team working with new and established customers in the Inbound Japanese market. You will be responsible for the performance of key client accounts; this entails managing simple and complex transport requirements including series and incentives.

About you

We are seeking a customer focused candidate who is interested in learning all aspects of our business. You will have a commitment to ongoing development and be happy mentoring junior team members. Ideally you will have sales and operational experience in planning and managing transport movements for the inbound Japan sector.

Duties include but are not be limited to:

  • Build on existing relationships to drive revenue whilst providing exceptional customer service

  • Identify new business opportunities within the Inbound Japan sector

  • Work with and mentor junior team members

To be considered for this role a successful applicant will need:

  • Strong negotiation skills including verbal and written

  • Fluent in Japanese and English both verbal and written

  • Excellent computer skills including Word and Excel

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a sales or events operational role

  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
