COVID-19 Travel Safe Measures
The health, safety and well-being of our passengers and staff is and always has been our number one priority. In line with guidance from transport regulators as well as the Australian Government we are implementing a range of Travel Safe measures to mitigate the risk of COVID-19.
We will keep this page updated with the latest advice for our charter customers as more information and guidance is available, as well as through our own learnings.
The Department of Health continues to encourage everyone to keep at least 1.5 metres apart from others (outside of their family unit) where possible.
A simple assessment of the risks based on the travel task and the profile of the group will determine the number of people that can travel together in a coach. Consider, who is travelling and how long are they travelling as a starting point. Our team are here to guide you and our interactive seating plans will assist in your planning.
All drivers are issued with personal protective equipment including, disposable gloves for manual handling, sanitising wipes to clean high touch surfaces as well as a small supply of face masks for use by any symptomatic passengers and hand sanitiser.
Manifesting and Seating Allocation
A new measure will be the requirement to have a passenger manifest for every booking. Once boarded, the host, guide or driver will need to make a note of where each passenger is seated to assist with any contact tracing efforts that may be required.
Fresh Air to circulate through the A/C Filters
The air conditioning in every coach will be set to recycle fresh air every few minutes in the coach cabin. Vents are positioned to direct airflow from ceiling to floor.
All passengers may have their temperature tested prior to boarding.
Enhanced Cleaning Procedures
We have enhanced our deep cleaning and are using industrial grade cleaning agents as well as increased wipe down of high touch areas onboard.
Hand Sanitiser Onboard
Hand sanitiser is now available on every coach.
Onboard signage will remind everyone of their responsibility to keep each other safe.
We are working with our suppliers to engineer a shield that will be placed behind the driver to optimise the exclusion zone and provide protection - watch this space.
