Murrays Coaches is seeking a reliable and motivated Mechanical Trades Assistant / Bus Detailer to join our workshop team. This hands-on role supports our mechanics and tradespeople while ensuring our fleet is maintained, cleaned, and presented to a high standard.

The Role: Key Responsibilities
- Clean and detail buses (interior and exterior)
- Assist tradespeople with mechanical repairs, maintenance, and installations
- Prepare tools, equipment, and materials for jobs
- Move and position buses within the yard or workshop
- Refuel vehicles and complete basic checks
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
About You
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Attention to detail and pride in vehicle presentation
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Current driver’s licence (HR licence highly regarded but not essential)
- Previous experience in a mechanical, trade, or vehicle detailing environment is an advantage but not essential
