Please be advised that Sydney Airport has announced a permanent change to the location of the T-Bus transfer service operating between the International and Domestic terminals.

From 4:00am on Wednesday, 1 July 2026, the T-Bus pick-up and drop-off location at Terminal 1 (International) will move from the current Loading Dock area to Bus Bay 11 on Arrival Court, located in front of the Terminal Transfer facility.

What this means for Murrays passengers

Passengers connecting between Sydney Airport's International and Domestic terminals and using the T-Bus service should allow additional time to locate the new boarding point during the transition period.

The T-Bus service will continue to operate as normal; however, all passengers will need to use the new Bus Bay 11 location from 1 July 2026.

Sydney Airport advises that this change forms part of broader improvements to streamline Domestic Transfer operations and improve the passenger experience. Kerbside Management staff and signage will be available to assist travellers at the new location.

Macquarie Pass – Illawarra Highway (South Coast)

Please be advised that ongoing slope stabilisation roadworks continue to take place on the Illawarra Highway at Macquarie Pass, between Tongarra Mine Road and Mount Murray Road.

Schedule:
From Sunday 31 August 2025 (ongoing, no end date currently provided)

Road closures:

• Tuesday: 8:00pm – 4:00am (both directions closed)
• Wednesday: 8:00pm – 4:00am (both directions closed)
• Thursday: 8:00pm – 4:00am (both directions closed)

What to expect:

• Full road closures in both directions during the above times
• Heavy vehicles over 12 tonnes and over 10 metres (including vehicles towing caravans or trailers) will be detoured via the Hume Motorway, Picton Road, and the M1 Princes Motorway
• Detours may add up to 20 minutes to travel times

Service impact:
Some Murrays services travelling via the South Coast may be affected during these closure periods.

We recommend passengers allow extra travel time when planning their journey.

We appreciate your patience while these essential roadworks are carried out and will continue to monitor conditions to minimise disruption where possible.

Please be advised that scheduled trackwork will affect Sydney Trains and Sydney Metro services from:

Saturday 20 June to Sunday 21 June 2026

Passengers travelling to or from Sydney Central Station or Sydney International Airport (SINTL) are encouraged to plan their journey in advance and allow additional travel time.

What to expect:

• City Circle services will not operate during the trackwork period
• Trains will only operate between Central and Wynyard on the City Circle
• The Airport Line will be closed and no trains will operate to or from Airport stations
• Sydney Metro services will not operate between Tallawong and Sydenham
• Replacement buses will operate between Tallawong and Chatswood
• Passengers should use Sydney Trains services between Epping or Chatswood, the City and Sydenham

Service impact:

Murrays Express passengers travelling to or from Sydney Central Station or Sydney International Airport (SINTL) may experience longer journey times when connecting with public transport services.

We recommend allowing additional travel time to reach your Murrays departure point and checking your planned journey before travelling.
