Want to stretch out across the whole row of seats? Don't want to sit next to a stranger? Or maybe work is piling up all around you? Travel in comfort by upgrading to two seats to yourself.
It’s cost effective too. An economical way to add a little luxury. A small fee in addition to the cost of your initial booking applies to the second seat.
How do I book extra seats?
To book extra seats online simply select how many extra seats you need when prompted online. The additional cost will be added to your ticket price.
Alternatively, you can book your extra seats by calling us on (61) 13 22 51, but please note that there is $5 booking fee for phone transactions.
What if I’m travelling in a group?
Our policy is to seat household and family groups together, so if you’re all on the same booking, you will be allocated seating next to each other. When making a booking, you will have the option to add an extra seat for every member of your group. Or, if you have an uneven number of travellers you can choose to add 1 extra seat, to ensure no one in your group is seated immediately next to a stranger.
I’ve already booked my tickets, can I add extra seats?
You sure can! As long as there are enough seats left on your chosen service, you can do this up to an hour prior to departure. You can purchase your extra seats at one of our booking offices or over the phone. Please note though, that there is a $5 booking fee for phone transactions.
*Passengers who have purchased Two seats to Yourself need to sit in their allocated seat, the empty seat is to be kept clear and is only permitted to be used at the direction of Murrays staff.
Tickets in this fare category can only be purchased in conjunction with another fare and are subject to the same conditions for changes for that other fare. A maximum of one ticket in the fare can be purchased with each ordinary fare. No other discounts or concessions can be applied to this fare category. These tickets do not include Luggage Allowance and do not accrue any Loyalty Club (LCM) benefits, including free trips. Subject to any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, tickets in this fare category are not refundable if you are unable to travel or if you change your mind and cannot be reassigned to another traveller. In the event of a breakdown, it may be necessary for the additional seat to be occupied by another passenger, in which case a refund of the fare for this ticket will be provided by you.
