Passenger Types

Adult

Adult fares apply to any person aged 16 years and over with no applicable concession.

Student

Includes full-time students aged 16 and over with a valid Student ID card from a school, university or educational institution.

Pensioner

Includes Australian issued pension cards.

Senior

Includes all Australian issued senior cards.

Concession

Canberra ↔ Sydney and QLD Express
Includes Australian issued war widow/er cards, Youth Hostel cards, Defence Forces member pass (current, returned or ex-members).

Canberra ↔ Narooma / Wollongong
Includes war widow/er cards.

Child

Child fares are applicable for children aged 2-15 years. A child must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

Infant

Infants under 2 years of age may travel free of charge providing they do not occupy a seat, and are accompanied by a fare-paying adult over the age of 18. Should an infant require a seat, the applicable child rate will be charged.
